According to Yaw Tog, they had wanted him to sign him to a label, but the contract did not favour him, so he opted out.
In a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he shared;
“After working, everyone got a different deal. They wanted to sign me to Live Living Records and represent me with the label but the contract wasn’t going straight, it was just working for nothing. So my manager was like we can’t sign this contract but if you guys need us any day we’ll always be there, but one of them was like no, they can’t work with us. So, I was like fine. So, it wasn’t about a fight or money or anything.
Yaw Tog was considered a part of the award-winning Ghanaian drill group, Asakaa.
His hit single, “Sore” features O`kenneth, City Boy, Reggie, Jay Bahd; all members of the Asaaka Boys group.
However, following his successful entry into the music scene, Yaw Tog chose a solo route, which left a lot of fans wondering.
He has now shared the reason for his decision to go solo.
